Photo Hunter - Shiny

I was lucky to be invited to participate in the LG Shine Blogger Relations Program. I was loan the latest in LG's series of 'Black Label' high-end mobile phones, dubbed 'Shine' in May this year, a day before my birthday. :) I'm under no obligation to write about it.

A shiny new cellphone!

I've had Shine for about 2 months now, so I've had a good chance to play with it and see how it performs.

Shine has a glossy, shiny surface. Its sleek-and-sexy appearance makes it gorgeous. The phone looks and feels expensive and was the envy among those I show it off to. Actually they play with it more than I do. :(

The phone has a polished-metal body. It's a slider phone and has a reflective front screen that transforms into a mirror when the 2.2-inch LCD is idle. Quite handy for a busy lady because that means I don't have to look for a restroom to spruce up before the next date meeting. Not to mention it's quite a handy tool, blinding annoying friends by angling the phone at the sun. haha....

The shiny surface quickly becomes grimy with fingerprints and make-up. And I have to constantly wipe it.

I love things that glisten and gleam. :)

  1. that IS indeed shiny! much more blingbling than my Nokia 6230i, which is boring black overall. even the silver keypad isn't as blingbling as your LG. Looking Good!

  2. Very bling bling eh?

No new handphones for me this summer, not until the iPhone gets released in Europe at the end of the year at least!

  5. On the contrary, I don't like shiny things in general. I like wood more than metal. Maybe that is why my love for the double bass. :P

  6. Nice phone, I like mine to be black though, black is still shiny though and I know what you mean about having to clean them all the time.

  7. oceanskies,
Wood has a different 味道 mah! More earthy, natural, warm....

I like cold, hard metal. The sound of cling clangs that send your hair to raise on ends. hahaha....

  48. How funny, I just blogged about cell phones, I gave mine up back in 1999 but last week for Father's Day my two sons in law gave me a new one and bouched to pay the monthy bill, I think they want me to have a cell phone so they can find me easier when the need to borrow money, that's my theory.

    ReplyDelete
  49. hahaha Jose,
That's a funny theory you have. Do they borrow money from you often? ahem... can I have your cellphone number. hehehe.....

    ReplyDelete
  50. Nice shiny phone! But I don't like the thought of fingerprints and makeup transferring over to the surface when I use it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. rinnah,
Yes, it's really unsightly. So paiseh when people want to take a look at your phone or borrow it.
    :(
