Hats off, EastCoastLife! - PH

No hats in Singapore.

The hat-wearing culture has never even took off in Singapore.

I was invited to a Ladies Night at a race course. I was requested to wear a hat.

I was brought to a designer boutique to pick one. There are hats which will draw all eyes to the woman who want something special at functions or balls. The average price of his hats are $450. :P
*tightens belt*

To wear for just one night!? I remembered this hat I wore at my balls adventure.

  17. I think that hat shaved 10 years off your age! And I mean that as a compliment! But I wouldn't pay that amount for a HAT! LOL

  34. I saw hats in Bergdorf's in New York for $800 up. They were beautiful, but that is really over the top.
Did you go anyway to the races?

Hats are still very big in Australia at the racetrack, especially for the Melbourne Cup in November.

    Have a good weekend ECL.

  35. That sure would be a lot of money for something that you would only wear once or twice. My Mommie sometimes wears a baseball cap, but usually her head is too small to wear most hats. Hahahaha!
