Flexible Dish of the Day
ECL was holidaying in Barcelona and one afternoon she passed by a local restaurant. She went in and took a table. The owner came up to her and recommended her their Special Dish of the day. It consisted of two huge meatballs in a plate. They tasted delicious.
"What are those? They sure are delicious!" exclaimed ECL, smacking her lips.
"Ahhh.... those are the balls of the bull that lost at the Bull Fight last night," explained the restaurant owner.
The next day, ECL went back to the restaurant again. She couldn't forget the delicious dish she had the day before. She simply must have it again before she leaves for home.
When the dish arrived, she noticed the balls were much smaller. Not wanting to kick up a fuss, she finished the plate of yummy balls.
"Well....... the bull doesn't always lose, you know!"
