Photo Hunt - Skinny

Skinny women in skinny jeans are some kind of people many of us love to hate. No matter how much they eat, they never seem to get fat. While the rest of us obsess over every tiny bit of food passing through our lips, sigh....... we’ll put on the kilos if we let our guard down for just one moment.

I couldn't believe it when a student showed me the skinny houses she discovered in Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is known for it’s tightly-packed and skinny structures. These houses located along a canal, are about a metre wide each. They expand as they recede from the street. I wonder how it feels to live in such skinny space.

Oh, I just learnt from her too that a coffee prepared with skimmed milk is described as skinny. hehe.....
*blush*

  13. I saw your question on my blog about how tall I am. It's funny because I converted it to cm since I know most people use the metric system and I went, wow, I am tall in cm. So, I'm 175.3 cm but I'm only 5 ft 9 inches in the other system which doesn't sound so tall, ha.

  17. Skinny houses of Amsterdam! I once went to a movie in Amsterdam and it was such a narrow place, no wider than my living room. It was an English movie with Dutch subtitles and the Dutch talked all the way through because they could read the subtitles and we couldn't hear the dialogue!

  26. The houses in Amsterdam. The front door's small but what about the back. Hmm.. if Asian country has that kind of house, I think they're gonna knock down the next door neighbor's house.

You should see the "skinniest" house in Amsterdam on my Travel Blog, I go there quite often because my son lives there. The houses are not skinny besides this one. It is large like one window.
BTW I take the Cyber Cruise today to the Ice Sculpture Exposition in Brugge, so if you have time, have a look.

  47. I personally prefer the not too skiny type. I mean, take a look at all the paintings, most of the girls are not that skinny. What happens to modern day fashion. I think girls in long dress are nice. Skinny ones don't really look that good with that.

Talking about skinny buidlings, there are plenty in HK due to space constraint :)
