Chinese traditional treatment - Herbal Concoctions

Chinese medicinal herbs..... and it included dried insects.

My son had a medical condition that baffles the western specialist doctors. He was put through many medical tests and given medications. He was also given a nasal spray. He had side effects from these treatments, resulting in swollen lips and face. He felt drowsy in school. He couldn't exercise without feeling sick.

Jaymes even collapsed twice in school and had to be sent to hospital in an ambulance. After a year of treatment at a well-known local hospital, I decided to try Chinese traditional treatments at the suggestion of my Chinese partners. They found several well-known Chinese physicians in China and Taiwan. I brought Jaymes to consult them.

I was given herbal prescriptions which had to be boiled for hours. The herbs looked like dried twigs and leaves and there was a handful of dried insects! For 3 months, my house was filled with the pungent smell of boiling medicine. Jaymes had to drink the nasty brew every morning and night.

A year later, Jaymes is much healthier now. He swims daily, he plays basketball and soccer. He is not dependent on medication anymore. I'm glad I sought alternative treatment.

  6. day-dreamer,
True. It's because of the side effects that's why I have to seek alternative treatment.

  13. Chinese treatment is not cheap though ... but I think it is worth the money. Health is Wealth! :)

Few years back, I used to have very bad cramp ... can pain until I almost want to commit sucide.
After one year of chinese treatment, I can now drink my favourite ice cold coke during the "sensitive days" of the month. No pain at all ... hehehe so happy! :)

  17. This stuff really works! I am on this type of tea that reduces gallstones. It tastes nasty, but it is working.

If it tastes bad, it's gotta be good for you!

  27. I do believe in Chinese medicine. They're all natural and have little or no side effect. Chinese medicine cures the root of any sickness though it takes time. Well, what can I say, good thing takes time. Glad that Jaymes is better now and he will be fully off the condition in no time.
