Photo Hunters - Colourful

I went to a Japanese Restaurant last night to have my favourite sushi. My appetite gets stimulated when the colourful dishes were served before me. Orange-coloured fresh salmon sashimi. Yummy avocado and prawn sushi rolls. Even my favourite vegetable dish, Kakiage (Crispy Vegetable Fritters) was a colourful assortment of vegetables cut into strips and fried in a crispy batter.

I can only eat sushi on Fridays and Saturdays. Why?? Because I have been trading shares, I've turned superstitious. hehehe....

Note : sushi rhymes with the Chinese dialect su si, which means 'lose everything'! So how to eat sushi on trading days? Mention that word, you get a whack on your head from me!

  11. Eastcoastlife: Thank you for your compliments on my blog...

Ok, now I have learnt not to mention sushi on trading days.

But I don't even know when are the trading days. Ok, since you say you can only eat sushi on Fridays and Saturdays, then I shall infer that trading days are on the rest of the week??

  33. It looks like a restaurant at Marina Square that I brought my family to. Can't quite remember the name, but they do have this sushi dragon dish which had those avocado slices and fried prawn in that photo you showed.

I love sushi and Japanese food, but I usually stay away from salmon, preferring instead other seafood like Tuna, Ark Shell, Sweet Shrimp, Hamachi, Red Snapper, and so on. Yummy!

hehehe.... the Chinese especially, has a lot of superstitious beliefs. When too many things happen to me and I have no explanations for them, I'd rather believe in the supernatural. :)

  49. Hi Captain Picard,
The Japanese are really smart people. Their inventions keep me in awe. I not only love their food, I love watching their movies and TV dramas. Most of the electronics I use are Japanese brands. Japanese culture is similiar to the Chinese but the Japanese are much more cultured and civilised. :)
