I went to a Japanese Restaurant last night to have my favourite sushi. My appetite gets stimulated when the colourful dishes were served before me. Orange-coloured fresh salmon sashimi. Yummy avocado and prawn sushi rolls. Even my favourite vegetable dish, Kakiage (Crispy Vegetable Fritters) was a colourful assortment of vegetables cut into strips and fried in a crispy batter.
I can only eat sushi on Fridays and Saturdays. Why?? Because I have been trading shares, I've turned superstitious. hehehe....
Note : sushi rhymes with the Chinese dialect su si, which means 'lose everything'! So how to eat sushi on trading days? Mention that word, you get a whack on your head from me!
Nice colour ... japanese dish.
ReplyDelete(I will avoid that word)
Oh, uh, I do not recognize that food! But I agree with what you said about how color in foods can be so stimulating!
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't eat sushi - it looks so neat!!

Hi Captain Picard,
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese are really smart people. Their inventions keep me in awe. I not only love their food, I love watching their movies and TV dramas. Most of the electronics I use are Japanese brands. Japanese culture is similiar to the Chinese but the Japanese are much more cultured and civilised. :)
Hi heidi,
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Hi cool insider,
ReplyDeleteYou're another sushi lover!! :)
The Japanese restaurant at Marina Square is either Waraku or Sushi Tei. Both restaurants serve yummy food. :)
