Choosing 'Jaymes'

It was easy choosing a name for my kid. I didn't have to crack my head too much. If it's a boy, he takes after my initial ‘J'. If it's a girl, then she would take hubby, Chris' initial. I named my son Jaymes. Many people mispronuounced it. The 'Y' is silent,ok.

Unique huh! My name is unique too. :)

er ..... yes. I just anyhow hantam (select). I googled and found out that 'Jaymes' means supplanter - a person who takes over the place of another person. He better not take over the place of another husband. Take over the place of President and Prime Minister is still ok.

Oh, if I had a daughter, she would be called Crystal then. Now I have changed my mind to Amber. Not gonna have any more kids lah, factory closed production. I will give the name to my granddaughter. :)

Now I tag these people with kids :
1) nyonyapenang
2) zara's mom
3) lilMrsT
4) stay-at-home-mom
5) Hijackqueen

I'm a busybody, want to know why you choose the names for your children lah.

1) Msaufong - Meaning Of SQ & Kiki’s name
2) Miche - My ACB
3) eastcoastlife - Choosing Jaymes

  7. This meme is fun. I named my junior Jadon - dropping the usual 'e' and replaced it with an 'o' to make it looks more masculine. Some pple dunno how to pronounce it. They call him Ja (as in JAR) and Don (as in DONNY). Sound like jagong (corn?) in malay. But Jaymes is unique.

  10. Speaking of child names, I was reading Freakonomics and it was talking about how a child name is an indicator of his/her family. Was an interesting read.
