Chris & I attended Mountbatten Constituency's Chinese New Year Celebration. The guest of honour was MP Mr Andy Gan.
There was a good turnout. There were performances by the young & old. A group of senior citizens, some in their seventies, sang & danced on stage. A young girl did an Indian dance. She was so cute.
We tossed yu-sheng. There was a God of Fortune who went round the tables distributing gold coins which were actually chocolates.
The dishes were pretty good. Everyone enjoyed the sumptious food. There was a Lucky Draw and the first prize of a huge TV was won by an elderly lady. Everyone went home happy.
