I received an invitation to watch the dragon boat race at Singapore's biggest water sports festival, the DBS Marina Regatta 2015 (30 May - 14 June), held in conjunction with the 28th SEA Games.
Went with my family on a sunny Saturday to watch the race. Apart from the race, there were many fun, exciting activities for the young and old. The kids spent most of their time playing with new-found friends in the dedicated kids zone. I wanted to attend a urban farming workshop but it was fully booked.

There were a couple of "accidents"..... two boats capsized, but fortunately there were no injuries.
I received a S$20 food voucher from the organiser, so we bought half a yummy rotisserie chicken and some ice-cream from the Food Village for the kids.
The heat was getting too unbearable for the kids in the afternoon, so we went home and not stay for the movie by the bay.
