Morning walk by the beach was cut short ..... *run*
Rainy week in my part of the world .... so I spent my time cooking for my family.
PhotoHunt theme : Cloudy/Hobby
Cooking is my hobby. It's so relaxing and takes my mind off everyday problems.
I make many friends through the cooking classes I attend and also on FB's Foodie groups :) We learn new cooking technics, share recipes and even meet up for Potluck.
Nutritious winter melon soup taught by my Mom.
Charcoal burger for the children
Yummilicious Korean noodles and kimchi
I love the thrill of experimenting and to cook up a dish I have seen on TV.
Cooking is fun and a truly enjoyable hobby ..... no one else in the family is complaining about it :D
U can cook well...
ReplyDeleteNot too bad haha...
DeleteI like cooking also...Guess what I'm playing this weekend too. I know your a day a head of me. I believe it will Sunday the 3rd and my photo will be up on my blog....Coffee is on
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you playing :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your post.

ReplyDeleteNo need to gatecrash. I will invite you :)
DeleteCan I come over? ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, please come :D
DeleteDelicious takes!!
ReplyDeleteYes, on a cloudy day. :D
Deletewah..creative menu.
ReplyDeleteMy family love these dishes.
DeleteYou sure can cook up a storm huh. :D
ReplyDeleteYes, I can cook with whatever ingredients that are available. I once cooked for 30 guests, I did every thing by myself. :D
DeleteYour charcoal burger looks very...charcoal-ish. Ha :D So black.
ReplyDeleteThe charcoal burger buns were bought from a supermarket. Too black. haha...
DeleteI used to love cooking it was my hobby, but when I started painting, all creativity went into painting and I just cooked because I had to cook. And now I cook very easy stuff ! Have cooked enough in 45 years of marriage, lol !
ReplyDeleteI have yet to lose the passion for cooking. In fact I am learning more new dishes from younger and more creative cooks :D
DeleteYou sure are a good cook!
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy cooking and baking too~
I cook two meals a day. I reduce my baking because I am trying to cut down on consumption of sugar and carbohydrates.
DeleteYour turn to make me hungry EC :) I doubt you'd have room for my almond croissant!
ReplyDeleteI cook for my family but I usually don't eat a lot. I love pastries and cake, the almond croissant is too tempting :D
DeleteOur two hobbies go well together: you like to cook, and I love to eat -- especially food made with care and love! ;b
ReplyDeletehaha.... Either you come to Singapore or I go to HK to stay for 2 weeks, I would cook and you could taste my cooking.
DeleteI also like cooking. No one doesn't desagree the hobby. :)
ReplyDeleteI like Japanese cuisine too. I can only make the simple sushi rolls and cook miso soup :)
DeleteI would let you cook for me any day!
ReplyDeleteYour cloudy shot looks a little ominous :-)
No problem :)
DeleteIt poured shortly after. Luckily I was able to find shelter.
Ominous clouds. We could use some here. Need the rain! But beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteIowa Voice
We have rainy days for the past two weeks. Nice cool weather.
DeleteHow to make the melon soup...I did once but failed. The "soup" flow out of the melon
ReplyDeleteYou should leave some allowance for the steam to condense and drip into the melon. Also make sure your melon is not lopsided.
DeleteHi ECL, wow... you too love cooking. Your above menu look delicious, you can cook very well too. 2 thumbs up for you.
ReplyDeleteMe too baking and cooking is my passion. :))
Best regards.
