Together with several neighbours, we celebrated the last few hours of 2013 at a New Year Countdown party with ESM Goh Chok Tong and Mrs Goh.

The special child was wearing an aqua coloured long sleeved tee.

Seated at our table were two special children on wheelchairs. ESM Goh came over to chat with them and their caregivers.

When the countdown commenced, we wheeled the children to the dance floor so they could have the colourful balloons falling over them. It was a first time for these children and they truly enjoyed that special moment.

ESM Goh and Mrs Goh joined party goers in an elephant dance to welcome 2014.

After a few hours of sleep, I woke up early to bring my nephews for a ride on the Singapore Flyer, a giant Ferris wheel which is 42 storeys high, with a total height of 165 m.

This is one sweet edible wheel - made of macaroons. :)
