Teeming with people over the weekend, this massive weekend market which I enjoy visiting, is a great place to buy an assortment of things from clothes to housewares.
We also picked up some amazing snacks from the food stalls set up all over the market as we go. Expect long queues at the more famous stalls. :)

famous Thai "Red Ruby" (water chestnuts) dessert
fresh fruit salad and fried potato
puff stick with different fillings
Go early in the day before it gets hot. This is an open air market and there is no air conditioning. Prices aren't fixed so prepare to bargain.

Long time I did not go Chatuchak. Maybe I should drop by there when I go Bangkok in future! : )
