A giant LEGO® cake, which more than 3000 park visitors have been helping to build over the past ten days, was revealed to mark the occasion. It was made from over 300,000 bricks and measures 3 metres wide.

The birthday entertainment included dance performances, a children’s dance party and unique 3D-LEGO fireworks displays, where bricks appeared to be falling from the sky. A real birthday cake was also prepared for the occasion and slices were available at the Café. Proceeds from the sales of the cake are going to Merlin’s Magic Wand, a worldwide charity for underprivileged children.

It has been an extremely successful year for Asia’s first Legoland and visitor numbers have far exceeded expectations. In the last 12 months we have added two new attractions and our guests are enjoying the Park more than ever. As we celebrate one major milestone we are already anticipating another, because in October we will open our brand new Water Park. ”
