While shopping at a Japanese departmental store in Singapore, a foreign friend was attracted to these Rose Chan Dolls. It is the mascot of that Japanese departmental store. During the Christmas season every year, a limited quantity of 3,000 pieces are offered to shoppers who make a purchase of $300 at the departmental store. Dressed in different international costumes, she is a collectors' item.
To get a photo for this week's photohunt theme, my friends and I had a hilarious session of photo taking at our recent F1 night race. Challenging them to take a good shot with cameras on our hips, this is the best shot we had when standing at the highest point. Had to delete pictures of buttocks or big heads of the spectators taken at various spots. LOL
I was too far from the racing track and it was very difficult to take photos of the racing cars which passed us at lightning speed.
F1 is recognized as a major global sporting event. Singapore Grand Prix 2013 was won by Sebastian Vettel of Infiniti Red Bull. Fernando Alonso of Ferrari and Kimi Raikonnen of Lotus were second and third respectively.
Retired footballer David Beckham made a surprise appearance at the Singapore Grand Prix 2013 on Sunday night. Didn't get a chance to see him :(

Never been to one of those races. Watch it mostly on TV.
ReplyDeleteShould go at least once to experience a F1 race. Can buy the cheapest walkabout ticket to join in the carnival fun and watch the racers speeding past. :)
