Hidden away in Kampong Glam is Haji Lane, a picturesque, narrow lane where a clustered street of run-down shophouses were transformed into a trendy alley bustling with great little trendy shops.
I checked out several vintage shops selling an array of contemporary, quirky garments and accessories. A young niece has recommended Haji Lane - full of quirky shops where one can buy vintage clothing. I was buying a gift for her birthday :)

Great stop for a refreshing, chilled beverage
Many girls like posing outside this quaint little shop. :)
We met two friendly guys sitting outside a tattoo shop. After chatting with them, they gamely pose for a photo for me. :)

There is a good mix of modern and traditional, with a very cool atmosphere in Haji Lane. I had a great time wandering around the street exploring the various shops.
Never been here, it looks really clean and colourful! :)

ReplyDeleteIt's been ages since my last visit here. Glad to be back :-) .
I haven't been to this side of Singapore ( so far I've only been to SG once). It must be fun exploring those vintage shops.
