PhotoHunt theme : How is your sky today?/Grin

It's the June school holidays in Singapore. It was sunny and humid this morning but there was a heavy downpour in the afternoon.

Fortunately I had planned a visit to the National Museum where my young nephews explored our multi-racial and multi-cultural society through the themes of Food, Film and Wayang, Fashion, and Photography in air-con comfort.

Glad that there is a Children’s Season – Island Adventures 2013 (18 May - 30 June) where lots of fun activities are planned for children.

The young boys enjoyed a wayang peep show and learnt how photo studios of a bygone era produced coloured prints in the 1950s and 60s. Each boy received a complimentary activity book and we purchased optional Craft Kits for additional hands-on activities.

  4. Is Walter the museum's mascot? Also... er... sorry but Malaysia has a prime minister (like Singapore), not a chief minister... ;b

  9. Hi ECL, very cool photos. It's wonderful that the visit was free for the day and included an activity book for the children. Great take for the two themes this week.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  11. It seem all of the world the word "holiday" is used. But when kids get out of school for summer it called a "vacation"
Most around here go back to school the first part of September.

    Coffee is on
