fresh herbs for Thai salads
Cooking some Thai dishes for visiting friends during the weekend, so I went to Golden Mile Complex (the Little Thailand in Singapore) to purchase the necessary ingredients.
Spotted these ready-to-cook sauces for a delicious home-cooked Thai dish. :)
Went to my usual little stall that sells almost every ingredient commonly used in Thai dishes. :) Bought some exotic Thai fruits.
Had my dinner at one of the many Thai eateries and bought some snacks for my kids.
Haiz, don't know why my previous comment can't go through though.... "what exotic Thai fruits have you bought that day?"

Looks like a wonderful place!
ReplyDeleteA supermarket that sells lots of Thai stuff, now it even sells products from Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia. Great place to shop for ingredients needed for cooking Thai dishes.
Deletei love thia food, but do not feel confident in cooking them - it is something i would enjoy learning!
ReplyDeleteIf you are able to purchase ingredients required in Thai dishes, it is easy to cook a reasonable good Thai meal.
DeleteThe Thai sales people in this supermarket are great advisers on how to use the sauces and mixes to cook up a yummy spread of Thai dishes. :)
I love to shop in Sg!

ReplyDeleteI love Thai food. Some dishes in Thai restaurants are too spicy for me so I would reduce the amount of chillies used when I cook them at home. :)
DeleteI'm having cravings for some Thai food now! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou eat too much Japanese food, try some Thai dishes sometimes. :)
DeleteSo now you can cook Thai already? :D
ReplyDeleteI can cook Thai food. With the easy availability and convenience of ingredients and sauces the Thai supermarket and market at Little Thailand offer, I am experimenting with more complicated Thai dishes. :)

Perfect day! Good food, good for you. I'm a fan of using store-bought sauces and spice mixes to speed things up. Definitely better than what I could do and faster, probably cheaper because I don't have to buy all the ingredients.
ReplyDeleteLooks like some delicious food!
