Oooo... Mountbatten Brisk Walking @Gardens By The Bay

PhotoHunt theme : Oooo... /Paths

Woke up very early on a Sunday morning to participate in Mountbatten Brisk Walking @Gardens By The Bay.

Flagging us off was Minister Lim Swee Say (Prime Minister's Office), with him were MP Lim Biow Chuan (Mountbatten), PA Chief Executive Director Yam Ah Mee, and Mountbatten CCC Chairman Lim Nghee Huat.

Warming up exercises before the walk

Oooo.... everywhere that he goes, our popular PA Chief Executive Director Yam Ah Mee is constantly stopped to pose for a photo.

Off we go!! Wholesome family activity where the young and old had fun.

Minister Lim Swee Say couldn't help snapping photos of the fun activities and beautiful scenery as he walked along the paths of the bay.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for PassionWave@Marina Bay

For the very first time in their lives, these gutsy seniors ( youngest early 50s, oldest in her 70s) tried canoeing. Thumbs up!

Relaxing at the banks and watching the kids enjoy themselves ....

Have a terrific weekend, everyone!

  14. YTSL,
In tiny Singapore, there is not much of healthy and fun activities around. Most Singaporeans love eating and shopping. :P

  20. I've yet to go to the garden, will wait for a while as it's always crowded during weekends. I only went as far as the bridge at MBS, and took some photos.

  24. Jama,
Yes, it's usually crowded on weekends. Try going in the morning for the fresh air and tranquil walk through the beautiful garden, evening gets a bit crowded too.

  25. Pu Niao,
It's free admission to tour the outdoor gardens (5am to 2am daily), but you have to pay to enter the Conservatories (9AM - 9PM daily)
    $8 to $28

    OCBC Skyway (9AM - 9PM daily)
    $3 to $5

It's worth a visit and you can really take some beautiful photos.

It seems easy because the elderly ladies learnt it in half an hour. I can't swim, so I skipped the canoeing. :P

Many people thinks it cost S$20 to visit Gardens By the Bay. NO!!!

The beautiful outdoor garden with the super trees is FREE!!! Great photo opportunites with the garden as the background.

    It's worth a visit.
