Wet/Rain - PH

PhotoHunt theme : Wet/Rain

Bangkok, one of my favourite holiday destination, is still coping with the worst flooding in a half-century. The flooding began in late July and has killed several hundred people, mostly by drowning.

Several Thai friends came to Singapore to wait out the flood. Their houses and factories have been flooded for a month. They dread to assess whatever damage the flood has caused. I feel so sad for them.

I am fortunate that I do not have to face such a disaster. But I am worried about price increases on daily necessities.  :(

  5. I used to love it when my uncles house gets flooded so we can pretend it was a huge pool and we go swim at it. It was fun some memorable moments I had when I was younger.
