Not a Dirty Weekend in Batam - PH

Photo Hunt theme : Dirty
Photobucket

My friends and I went go-karting on Batam Island one weekend. We decided to show off our racing skill before our annual F1 Race flag-off in September. :P

So why do we have to wear shower caps!?

We had to put on a shower cap for hygiene reason - the helmets were quite dirty.

It started to drizzle while we were racing. We were not asked to stop as there wasn't any thunder or lightning. It was dangerous but fun.

We were sad to see this sign .....

  7. Hi Horsoon,
Of course the winner will be very happy to see the 'Final Lap' sign. :D

Not for us who paid for a mere 10 minute drive.

  8. Lina,
What to do? No one wants to buy a new helmet or bring his own, so have to use the helmets provided. And they are shared by ??? numbers of customers. :P

The helmets are shared by ??? numbers of customers. I don't think the company washes the helmets daily.

  22. What a title not 'dirty' weekend. Sorry to hear about the dirty helmet but that cap certainly cant stop the dirty 'kutu' lice from popping to the next head haha. Love those track racing days when Bananaz participated in a few races in Penang at the clock tower and once at Taiping lake ohhhh those were the karting days.

  23. That is a really good idea, ECL! I will definitely be bringing a shower cap with me next time we go somewhere that needs a helmet on :)

  24. I imagine it gets quite sweating underneath the helmet so the shower cap is a good idea. Did you win the race against your friend? :D
