My friends and I went go-karting on Batam Island one weekend. We decided to show off our racing skill before our annual F1 Race flag-off in September. :P
So why do we have to wear shower caps!?
We had to put on a shower cap for hygiene reason - the helmets were quite dirty.
It started to drizzle while we were racing. We were not asked to stop as there wasn't any thunder or lightning. It was dangerous but fun.
We were sad to see this sign .....

Sebastian Vettel would be happy to see the "Final Lap" sign, coz that means he's winning again :)
ReplyDeleteThis' a cheeky post on 'Dirty'!
The go-kart looks fun, but dirty helmets despite wearing a shower cap. Eeek!
ReplyDeleteI also thing the go-kart looks fun, but I'm freaked out by the dirty helmets :) Yuck!

ReplyDeleteHi Horsoon,
ReplyDeleteOf course the winner will be very happy to see the 'Final Lap' sign. :D
Not for us who paid for a mere 10 minute drive.
Lina,
ReplyDeleteWhat to do? No one wants to buy a new helmet or bring his own, so have to use the helmets provided. And they are shared by ??? numbers of customers. :P
Gran,
ReplyDeletehahaha..... don't think about the dirty helmets.... just enjoy the racing.
Happy photohunting Sue!
ReplyDeletefoongpc,
ReplyDeleteThe helmets are shared by ??? numbers of customers. I don't think the company washes the helmets daily.
ewok1993,
ReplyDeleteHappy photohunting!
YTSL,
ReplyDeleteouch..... my head is beginning to itch ...... :D

Yummy~licious
What a title not 'dirty' weekend. Sorry to hear about the dirty helmet but that cap certainly cant stop the dirty 'kutu' lice from popping to the next head haha. Love those track racing days when Bananaz participated in a few races in Penang at the clock tower and once at Taiping lake ohhhh those were the karting days.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really good idea, ECL! I will definitely be bringing a shower cap with me next time we go somewhere that needs a helmet on :)
ReplyDeleteI imagine it gets quite sweating underneath the helmet so the shower cap is a good idea. Did you win the race against your friend? :D
ReplyDeletegood idea to wear a shower cap. the helmets provided by those Go-Kart are always very very dirty and smelly. yikes.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting experiment! I would want to try with you!
ReplyDeletewoohoo! I love Kart races! My 1st try was in Kenya!
ReplyDeletego speed racer go!
ReplyDeleteAloha from Honolulu :)

We were supposed to also enjoy this kart race but it was so sudden that 3 typhoons consecutively entered Philippines and because of the bad weather we cannot pursue this fun activity :(
