Ramly Burgers - RT/WW

This is one burger that I look forward to eating at the annual Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar. It's Ramly burger!!. .

This year, this stall's Ramly burgers are the best!

Besides adding curry powder and mayonaise sauce to their burgers, there is this brown sauce. I wonder what sauce is that?
*takes a huge bite*

Prices have been rising. From S$2 each two years ago, it's now S$3.00. :(

It used to be cheap and yummy. It's still yummy.... but not cheap.

  15. Mei Teng,
Oh, it's been around so long!? I only know of its existence 4 years ago. And I was told it's banned in Singapore, so that's why it is hard to find this burger being sold here.

Whenever I'm in Malaysia, I will look for Ramly burgers. :)

It costs S$3 each. Almost RM6! Expensive hor.

  16. Lina,
I was told Ramly burgers are banned in Singapore but I see many stalls selling Ramly burgers at Hari Raya Bazaars. I don't know what's the rule now.

Anyway, I'm happy to be able to buy it here.

You mean the Ramly burgers in Malaysia don't have curry powder in it?

I hope you are having a good week ECL!!

  23. Shinade,
awww.... the rainy season certainly dampens the mood of a nature photographer. *prays for the rain to go away*

On the other hand, it's so humid in Sinagpore, I wish there is rain. :P

  25. Why is Ramly burger banned in Singapore?

I think Ramly burger is nicer than McDonalds!

  26. @ECL,
never seen a burger with curry powder yet here. Maybe others have?

I think it was banned to non-approved food preservatives or something?

  27. I can't remember ever eating one but if you like it I'm sure I would.
Maybe the ban mentioned here occured during the mad cows desease(BSE) period awhile back when beef was risky to eat unless it came from Argentina.
