Hello Mr Murphy! - WS

After breakfast at the Riders Cafe, we were about to go home when we spotted this horse grazing on a field.

From afar, Jaymes thought it was a cow. haha.....

Say 'Hello' to Mr Murphy!

This 9-year-old horse came all the way from UK. He just had his hair clipped moments ago but he was perspiring profusely in our tropical heat.

My palm was all wet when I patted him. He's such a friendly and gentle horse. He allowed us to touch and hug him. I'm going to bring my young nieces and nephews to see him soon.

Hip Mr Murphy with his braided mane :)

Lovely day for a walk!

Happy Easter Sunday!!

  4. Gattina,
He has gotten used to it. He has been here a few years. Our climate is very different from the UK, sometimes it's hot like the oven.

  5. What a nice mane he has but he seems to feel pretty hot here. The good thing is that he isn't going to be too cold here. How do you get to Riders Cafe by public transport?

  7. oceanskies,
His whole body was covered with perspiration.... and it was early morning, not very hot.

He's such a friendly horse. I kept hugging and stroking him.

I don't know how to get there by public transport. I'll have to check it up for you.

  9. It's such a long way for the poor thing to have travelled. He looks so lovely, he must be a great favourite with everyone. I wouldn't mind cuddling him myself.

  10. Ecl,
It's a lovely horse but whatever you do, remember not to stand behind the horse for it has the tendency to kick you should a fly settle on its back: it's his natural reaction!

  11. A,
His owner brought him from UK. He travelled thousands of kilometres to be in Singapore.

His keeper said, kids love him because of his gentle nature. He's a great favourite in the club. He loves being cuddled.
