I guess all the activities are meant to remind us to treasure our loved ones, and find ways to show our love for them.

  13. oceanskies,
That day, Marina Barrage was decorated with purple and pink balloons and flower arches.

Couples are so preoccupied by work these days that they hardly spend time with each other or their loved ones. Such activity gives them an opportunity to show their love for each other.

  21. Never associated purple with romance -- always somehow thought of it as a supernatural type of color -- can imagine purple bolts coming out of witches' wands, for instance! ;b

  28. Purple here is also a funeral color, not so much royal and not at all wedding. I would rather be handsome than wise, I realized that handsome people have an easier life than wise once ! hehehe !

  33. Love the purple ballons for romantic gathering. Purple has not the same meaning in France and I realize the colours offer different vision all over the world! Marriages need help sometimes after several years old! It's a reality we should take care here in Europa too!
