The white balls in my previous post are called Wishing Spheres.
Each wishing sphere represents a hope, a belief that the New Year will bring new possibilities and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
Singaporeans pen their wishes for the New Year on the wishing spheres. Their wishes were marked by floating their wishing spheres onto the waters of Marina Bay, the bay of hope and light.
Happy New Year!!
