I attended a street party held on 27th December 2008 at Old Airport Road. It was to commemorate the reopening of a stretch of road that was sealed off from March 2006 for the building of the MRT Circle Line's Dakota station. My hubby was one of the grassroot leaders organising this event.
Fire eaters
Residents living around Old Airport Road have to live with the inconveniences of the road's closure and tolerate the noise and dust from the construction.
The road will be official opened to traffic on 30th December 2008 at 5 am.
