for my son Jaymes.
He has to go for an oesophagogastroscopy (examination of the interior of the oesophagus and stomach using an endoscope) and colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Hope they find nothing.
It's frustrating when the consultants and surgeons ( a team of 6!) are not sure what is causing my son's acute abdominal pains. It's been a week and they keep conducting test after test ....... my son is only 16.
Hope to gather positive chi (energy) through the blogosphere.........
- a distraught mother's plea -
The scope is postponed to 6th June 2008.
Dear Jaymes,
ReplyDeleteI am wishing you would feel all better soon. Being sick is No Fun. I am going to purr my hardest for you. And I hope you do not mind a sandpaper-y kitty kiss, too.
From,
Daisy the Curly Cat
Oh no! I thought your son is OK now.
ReplyDeleteI wish to join the blogosphere in prayers and hopefully like you said, we shall generate more +ve chi.
No one is harming your son, I hope :(
My old dad had the same procedure a few years back and it was a very painful experience. Your son is young and I am sure he will get well real soon.
Here is positive energy for Jaymes.
ReplyDeleteThis energy is unique. I was feeling tired for the first half of the day, however, after starting to play the double bass this evening, there is this nice positive energy flowing in me. Hope the energy spreads to Jaymes and your family.
May Jaymes be well and healthy.
I've had that done on me before - the scope - prior the sudden and strange discomfort in my digestive system. They found nothing and concluded that I had irritable bowel syndrome. Jaymes' symptoms sounds like dejavu and terribly similar. Keep your hopes high!
ReplyDeleteOh my god, hope you'll surpass this one.Have you & your family the chi energy.
ReplyDeleteBe strong.
I will certainly be praying for you both...I know it's hard when your child is sick....
ReplyDeleteWill continue to pray for him and his quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteI had done a colonscopy before but they found everything was okay. So not to worry too much as it is just the procedures of the doctors to seek answers. Take Care.
Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear that. Prayers are coming your way. Praying for comfort and that they will find out whats wrong.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and best wishes are with you, your family and especially with Jaymes. I hope that he is soon sorted out, back on the mend and home with you all soon.

ReplyDelete*beep beep* lorry unloading..
All my best wishes and thoughts and prayers for you. In a way though, it's better if they do find something. Something simple of course, but at least then you know and can do something about it, and that's better than a mystery.

ReplyDeleteKristie
you should try alternative medicine. There are not many good naturaopaths out there, especially in America. But Canada is very big on alternative medicine and a lot of good naturaopaths are available there.
ReplyDeleteEndoscopy is a piece of cake. I had an endoscopy done two years ago.

i pray that your son will be fine by God's grace. I remember when I rushed my son to the ER too due to abdominal pains. After undergoing so many tests, there was nothing that the doctors found. They finally concluded that it was slight food poisoning. My son is 17 now, just a yr older that your son.

ReplyDeleteDear Eastcoastlife, by definition, A Chinese whether inside or outside China, is an individual who has Chi. Chi-nese, Chi-na. I am a Chinese, so I know. You just sit next to Jaymes, hold his hand, palms attached, and send love. Love is real magic. When in need, think of all supporting friends here. Please include me. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI will continue to pray. I hope that they find out what is wrong, and that it is very minor and easily fixed.
ReplyDeleteI have had both procedures done. I hope they find nothing. If they do find something, please let it be very small and fixable so he will be better right away.

ReplyDeletePrayers are already on its way to your son. We all hope it's nothing serious. God bless Jaymes!
ReplyDeleteHi ECL, I'm one of your silent readeres. But I have to tell you my stepdaughter's fiance had a lot of abdominal pain too for 3 weeks, in and out of the hosp, the docs did colonoscopy and a bunch of tests and blood work, could not find any thing wrong. He went in to ER again as the pain was getting worse by the 3rd week. Another surgeon came in, checked out his gall bladder and right away sent him in for gallbladder surgery. They found that only 1% of the gall bladder was working!
ReplyDeleteStand firm in your belief that your son is here for a purpose, that he will fulfill that purpose and that there is a reason for all of this. Trust in his being healed. I send you the strength I gained through my trials with my son, so that you may feel empowered as you go through this!
ReplyDeleteOh no... like wilfrid, i thought he was already ok. but no worries, I'm transferring positive chi to you and your son... He will be better! Will keep you all in my prayers each day. *hugz*
ReplyDeleteMay God bless Jaymes and cure him of the pain.
ReplyDeleteI have watched an episode of HOUSE with the same condition...puzzling cause of abdominal pain. Doctors rummaged through a barrage differential diagnosis only to find out that the boy has swallowed a tooth pick that pierced through the intestine.
Hope its nothing of those sort. Our prayers are for Jaymes and his fast recovery.
