AMEN!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in and letting me know he is home. Rather young to have antral gastritis as it is often caused by stress making the stomach over acidic. Oh well I am sure the doctors put him on some good medication and he will be out of pain soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the hairy legs LOL
Way to go, Jaymes!! More hair, I say! More!!
ReplyDeleteGlad that he has discharged from the hospital.
ReplyDeleteHi ECL
ReplyDeleteSo happy to know that your son is now home with you. The thing that he has sounds scary...I hope it's nothing serious and is easily treatable.
I think hairy men are very sexy.. my hubby is hairy too and it is such a turn on..heheh
Have a great weekend with your family!!!

ECL! So glad to hear that everything is okay. You were right to worry but now that it's over, it's time to celebrate! Looks like Jaymes came home just in time to enjoy the weekend. :):):)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that the results of the scope showed that he was fit for discharge. I wish I have a simpler name for the diagnosis. But what is more important is that Jaymes is fine. :)
ReplyDeletethat's good news, ecl!
ReplyDeletehe must watch his diet abit for now ya. some food can aggravate stomach linings. it's a relief jaymes is fit for discharge. congratulations.
Good to hear that Jaymes is fine and now back home with you guys!!!

Hey thank God your son is back. Not sure what's antral gastritis though, anything that can be done to prevent it in future?
ReplyDeleteWelcome home Jaymes and I will keep you guys in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteHooray! That is wonderful news. I have to say I laughed when I saw those legs for the "bad hair" theme!
ReplyDeletehmmm...does James get gastrics often? Does he skip meals once in a while (like i did in sec schl days to use the $ to buy comics - what a mistake it was!), does he have sensitive stomach? IBS? Irritable bowel syndrome? I used to suffer from all of that and eventually a season of severe gastrics and diahorrea brought me to my senses in JC to eat even when I'm too busy. NOw i'm free! I dono if Jaymes share any of teh above characteristics.
ReplyDeleteGood to know that he is home now!
ReplyDeleteLots of good wishes Jaymes!
ecl,
ReplyDeleteThat's a great relieve! *Phew*
Now ECL, you must recharge yourself liao. Take care!:)
Happy to hear he is home, but sorry I have no idea what that is let alone a simple name for it! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice for the theme! My Photo Hunt entry is here:
My Life In The Urban Zoo
ECL!! I'm sooooo happy to hear that!!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you so much for the birthday wishes! *kiss kiss hug hug*
In layman's terms that would be known as a tummy ache?
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful news ECL! I'm so glad to hear he is home from the hospital, hairy legs and all.You take good care of that young man and yourself too :)
ReplyDeleteWow…what a great photo!
ReplyDeleteGood to know that Jaymes is home again.
thank God!!! im glad jaymes back. but maybe he still needs enough rest.
ReplyDeleteHe's part of the blogosphere through you. Glad he is back home!! Cheers!!
ReplyDeleteHi ECL,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that Jaymes is home! At least they know what it is now, and it doesn't sound serous. Did they give him some medication for it?
It was very thoughtful of you to leave that comment on my blog, but not necessary. I know that you have been very concerned about your son, and didn't expect it.
I hope that mother, and son can now rest at home for awhile.
By the way, some women think that hairy men are sexy. ;)
Oh I am so very glad he is home!! Thanks so very very much for dropping by and letting me know.
ReplyDeleteI will still pray for complete and swift healing and to be completely out of pain!!
Much love flowing your way:-)
Ahh..Good..! happy to hear about it too..! Speedy recovery ya..!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness he's back home! (With less or more hair?) =D
ReplyDeleteEnjoy fun weekend, warm regards to you and yours!
Great news, eastcoast. I hope that Jaymes gets good follow-up care.
ReplyDeleteBeth from Seattle
this is great news. i'm glad he's out of the hospital and can now finally rest in your home.
ReplyDeletetake care!
Glad to see that he back to his hairy self!
ReplyDeleteWhat a relief! I'm so glad it's all over now and that things can be back to normal. (^_^)
ReplyDeleteGreat to know that Jaymes is back... but seriously what is 'functional abdominal pain with antral gastritis'... ???
ReplyDeleteAnd that is really quite a lot of hair. LOL.
That's good news - I'm so pleased he's back at home with you all!
ReplyDeleteWOO HOO!! GO, Jaymes!! :D
ReplyDeleteIt has been believed that antral gastitis is caused by too much acid - e.g. skip meals, too much stress, yadda yadda - that was true until medical scientists isolated Helicobacter pylori (a kind of bacteria) a few years ago.
Basically most gastric or stomach ulcer related diseases are caused by this bacteria, so I'm sure the doctors have prescribed him some antibiotics and so just make sure he goes through the whole course of the antibiotics to get rid of the bacteria.
Unless of course, the gastritis is caused by other rare reasons.
I'm sure Dr Chev can shed more lights on this issue. :)
Hope Jaymes will be back to his normal healthy status soon
ReplyDeleteThanks every one for your love and concern for Jaymes.
ReplyDeleteHe's been given medication .... and he's catching up on his studies, after a week of illness. :)
hillary,
ReplyDeleteJaymes skip meal sometimes...... but he's unlikely to have stress because he's a happy-go-lucky guy. hehe....
According to the doctor, there are actually many reasons for antral gastritis. I'll make sure Jaymes will eat regular, balanced meals and exercise more frequently.
Yeh!!! I'm glad Jaymes is home already :P Hope he'll no longer feel the acute pain. Guess the 3 of you had a rather tiring week, take a good rest this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteSexy legs wor~~~~
sho,
ReplyDeleteJaymes used to skip meals when he was in secondary school too, though not to save money to buy comics. :)
He didn't show any symptoms of gastritis until a month ago. He has tummy aches that come and go.
I realise how serious gastritis could be. If he has stomach ulcer, it would be terrible. :P
I'm hope he realises how important it is to have regular meals and also to avoid things that irritate his stomach lining.
giddy tigress,
ReplyDeleteLayman's term, it's gastric. -_-'"
glad to hear that Jaymes is recovering.
ReplyDeleteNeeds to take regular meal and skip or reduce taking meals that can trigger stomachache.
Sorry leh I didnt know what was going on earlier on as I was away for almost 2 weeks.. Just found it out today
Glad that your boy is doing good now,ECL! I thought of you the other day! Happy PH:)
ReplyDeleteOh man, I totally forgot about hairy legs!! I'm glad he's home and things are going better!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that your son is home. I never would have thought of using hairy legs. Mine would qualify for that today. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeletei love happy endings! praise God!
ReplyDeleteantral gastritis is gastritis on the antral part of the stomach. basically, it's just that - gastritis - which could have been caused by bacteria or virus.
My middle son has very hairy legs, too.
ReplyDeleteI am glad your son is better!
He is really a growing man :) Glad to know your son is home and ok.
ReplyDeleteTake care Jaymes :)
Thank Goodness Jaymes has been discharged. I hope he will get all the rest he needed now. Get better Jaymes :)

Glad to know that your son's fine! I can imagine your relief. :)
ReplyDelete"Wind" :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad that Jaymes is well.
This is wonderful news. I'm glad that Jaymes is safely home and doing better.
ReplyDeleteTHanks goodness he's okay.. I know very well, how terrible (not to mention bored) it is to be poked and prodded here and there by doctors who are baffled as to what's wrong with you.
ReplyDeleteI was admitted 4 days for something that is still "unknown". I had a cardiologist and orthopedist (strange combi huh?) come every day picking and prodding.
Anyways, glad to hear that your son Jaymes is in fact alright and safely at home. :) Here's some positive chi to make it stay that way....
Cheers!
dropped my card. praise God your son is fine. have offered a silent prayer for you as i dropped my card some days back when u asked for it. God bless you and your family! :-)
