  2. The calligrapher gave an amazing performance indeed. I managed to speak with him to find out how long he had taken to practise.

PHEMAS (Singapore)'s performance was interesting too.

Aiya, I missed the young pianist's performance. It's lovely to give chances for the young ones to perform during this special occasion. :)

  5. oceanskies,
Such a surprise to see you! You didn't say you were coming. :)

I'm happy to see you and I really want to have a meal with you.

I hope you enjoy yourself.... I'm not a good host, I was busy with my other guests. My apology.

  6. Hi adie,
    Thanks for stopping by.

I don't exchange links with anyone. I would link bloggers who are regular commentators.

  7. My pleasure. Wasn't sure if I could attend as my health hasn't been good earlier the week. Am glad I managed to attend.

No worries. I wasn't expecting you to be the hosting me around. I just wish the speakers weren't so loud for my ears. A softer volume would be more bearable for me.

  8. That looks like a lot of fun !

PS. I type this comment with my toes standing on my head ! If you don't hear anything from me anymore I broke my neck !

  9. oceanskies,
Oh dear! I didn't know you were not well.

I agree with you the volume of the speakers is too loud. It's always the problem.... the events vendor always assume the audience like loud music or noise.

Sometimes people want to mingle and chat with friends or acquaintance.... I normally have to shout or raise my voice at such events when speaking, even to the MP.

  10. Gattina,
hahaha.... did you ask Mr Gattino to take a picture of you typing with your toes and standing on your head?
It would be a great WW entry!

  12. Argh! I actually did plan to attend. In fact, Cynthia made an arrangement to meet our friends at Katong for lunch after the event at 11.30am.

We only managed to reach Katong at 12.30pm. So obviously we couldn't make it.

Argh ... I really should try to practice waking up early on weekends.

    Sorry :(
