The calligrapher gave an amazing performance indeed. I managed to speak with him to find out how long he had taken to practise.

I agree with you the volume of the speakers is too loud. It's always the problem.... the events vendor always assume the audience like loud music or noise.
Sometimes people want to mingle and chat with friends or acquaintance.... I normally have to shout or raise my voice at such events when speaking, even to the MP.

Argh! I actually did plan to attend. In fact, Cynthia made an arrangement to meet our friends at Katong for lunch after the event at 11.30am.
ReplyDeleteWe only managed to reach Katong at 12.30pm. So obviously we couldn't make it.
Argh ... I really should try to practice waking up early on weekends.

Sounds like a great weekend. Good sequence of shots. I appreciated your comment on my photoblog and you asked if I was visiting my daughter. Unfortunately she wasn't able to make it but I was vacationing at the beach with much of my family (sisters, brother in laws, and Bill who is my good friend as well as ex-husband.
