St Patrick's Day Parade in Singapore - Weekend Snapshot 15
My first St Patrick's Day celebration at historic Boat Quay where the parade took place. A fun-filled event where everyone wear something green!
Singapore's Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is organised by the Irish Business Association and supported by the Embassy of Ireland along with key members of the Irish community in Singapore. The parade was a special highlight of the day, a beloved tradition upheld and celebrated by Irish people worldwide, in honour of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.
This is the 3rd year the event is held in Singapore. The Singapore Police Force marching bands and many local cultural groups participated. There were much Irish music and dancing and drinking.
