Photo Hunt - Sweet

Chocolate is one of my weaknesses. This decadent sweet just makes me weak in the knees and mind. All diet plans would be thrown out of the windows!

I have a sinful dessert buffet tonight with my girlfriends. I just couldn't keep my hands off the chocolate fountain.

My Filipino friend Alison sent me a box of Neuhaus chocolates. Neuhaus has been making Belgian chocolates since 1857. Alison went to London on a business trip and she bought me the chocolates. So sweet of her!

The kids crowded around me as I unwrapped the box. There were oos & ahs. I closed the flaps of the box & placed the precious box of chocolates in the fridge.

"Don't touch them until I say you can do so!"

  13. i, too, love chocolate, and i used to lament the number of calories it would add to my diet... until i read an article about how GOOD dark chocolate can be for you. when i was a child i disliked getting dark chocolate, as its taste did not appeal, but now as an adult with "an itch to scratch," and looking for validation of its correctness, I LUVS ME SOME DARK CHOCOLATE! ;)

My kids are obedient, they listen.

I don't allow them to eat too much chocolates, biscuits and candies because they couldn't eat their usual meals after that. Good habits have to be cultivated from young. :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. chen,
Yes, they are well-behaved. No, they won't steal the food. They know they will be grounded if they do. :)

They will ask first if they want to eat any snacks from the fridge.

If they are hungry, they will cook their own noodles or make their own sandwiches. Our house is near to some eateries where they could go to buy prata or fried noodles.
