Roti Prata

The westerners have their pizza, we Singaporeans have the roti prata. This is an Indian dish which we eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner or supper. You can have it plain or you can add onions, or cheese or banana or even ice-cream!

I was at Funan Digital Mall & I ordered a Sausage & Cheese Roti Prata from the Roti Prata stall at the basement food court.
He flipped the dough several times......
until it expanded into a large & thin piece.
Then he added sliced sausages & cheese to it. And fried it on the hot plate.

The stall sells delicious rice set meals & teh tarik (pull tea) too. I also had a Sambal Chicken rice set.

Spicy Sambal Chicken Rice with a cup of teh tarik!
