Fireworks at Marina Bay

After dinner, we left the house at 8pm for Marina Bay. There were jams on all the roads leading to Marina Bay. We had to park our car in Adelphi & soon the carpark was also full.

We walked over to the Padang & found a spot to sit. It was already 8.56 pm, & it was impossible to get to One Fullerton.

The firework display costs S$1.8 million over 4 nights starting last Saturday (5th August). The next two shows will be on Friday (11th August) & Saturday (12th August). There will be fireworks along the water surface, mid- & high-level displays.

The fireworks display was spectacular.









By 9.15 pm, it was all over. As the crowds dispersed, traffic jams built up again. We had to go to Burger King in the basement of Peninsula Plaza to wait it out. We had cold beverages, fries & chicken tenders.

We left BK at 10. 20pm but reached home 11.45pm. The traffic jams were terrible.
