MP Andy Gan & new PAP candidate Lim Biow Chuan were the guests-of-honour at this event.
There was the breaking of "Urimbi Panai" (earthern pots) and a lighting ceremony.
There were many song & dance performances.
I was asked to take part in a Sari Competition.
We had Banana Leaf Lunch. There was Bryani rice, Curry Chicken, vegetables, egg & Pappadum. It was a delicious meal.
