I woke up early to prepare the dishes for today's Chinese New Year Open House. This is the first Chinese New Year in our new house.
Our relatives & friends are visiting us today. Chris has also invited his classmates.
Dishes served :
Crispy Fish Fillets in Lemon Sauce
Tempura Prawns
Tempura Squids
Asparagus with Squids
Cocktail Chicken Hotdogs
Quail eggs wrapped with Minced Meat
Baked Chicken in Coconut Sauce
Seafood Spaghetti
Mango Pudding
The guests came in batches, so the house was not overcrowded at any one time. My kids helped to serve the guests & mind the children as the adults ate. The last guest left at 7pm. The kids started opening their ang-pows!
Oh no! We were so busy, we forgot to take pictures with our guests.
I was really exhausted after the cleaning & washing up. The kids & Chris played mahjong while I went to bed.
