Chris woke Jaymes up to go to Shuang Lin Temple at Toa Payoh. As I was awakened, I went along as well.
It was crowded today with many worshippers. Chris & Jaymes prayed while I strolled along the temple grounds.
Shuang Lin Temple was built in 1898. It's the oldest Buddhist temple in Singapore and the only one that is nominated for preservation. In 1991, it started a 11-year repair & restoration of its buildings. Many people donated, including well-known movie stars & popstars from Hong Kong & Taiwan.
