Flower dumplings
Tomorrow is the last day of our Chinese New Year, I spent some time making glutinous rice dumplings for my family. Instead of the usual round dumplings, I decided to create some fanciful shapes.
I added water to 250g sticky glutinous rice flour and knead it until the dough doesn't stick to the mixing bowl. I divided the dough into different portions and added natural colourings to them.
Since it is the year of the ram, I made some dumplings in the shape of lambs for the young children. Aren't they adorable?
I made some gold fish too :D
