LegoLand® Water Park opening on 21st October 2013
Early this morning, I attended a media briefing at LegoLand® Malaysia which embarks on yet another milestone with the announcement of the official opening for LegoLand® Water Park.
The LegoLand® Water Park, which is specifically designed for families with children between the ages of 2 and 12, is the first international water park in Malaysia and the only LegoLand® Water Park in Asia.
General Manager Siegfried Boerst with Thila Munusamy and Scott Elliot
General Manager Siegfried Boerst announced LegoLand® Water Park is scheduled to open on 21st October 2013.
The media were driven to the site of the water park to view the progress of its construction and a photo session.
The biggest LegoLand® Water Park in the world will feature more than 20 slides, tides, wade pools, an interactive water-play structure, over 70 LEGO® models and other attractions. Among the highlights of the Water Park is Build-a-Raft River, a one of a kind concept where children customise their own raft made from soft LEGO® bricks before floating down a lazy river.
Starting early August 2013, a limited number of Premium Annual Passes, which provide unlimited access to both the LegoLand® Theme Park and the Water Park, will go on sale.
Premium Annual Pass Adult RM395
Child RM395
Families visiting for the day can choose between a Day Ticket to the Theme Park, the Water Park or Combo Tickets which allow them to move freely between the two.
I am also looking forward to the opening of the 249-room LegoLand® Hotel which is scheduled to open in early 2014.
Before I left, General Manager Siegfried Boerst invites me for the water filling ceremony at LegoLand® Water Park. Great! I should start shopping for my swimwear :)
My son loved Lego's when he was little. It is amazing that now there are these Lego theme parks.
