Sunset at Kuta Beach 

The renowned Kuta sunset draws hundreds of tourists every evening to witness the golden yolk being swallowed up by the inky-blue ocean. Kuta Beach is a popular surfing and tourist destination.


I absolutely enjoyed my vacation in Bali which is an incredible place for tourists. There is so much to see and experience. The only problem is time. The areas of Kuta and Denpasar have a fabulous experience for those wishing to experience Balinese culture.

We spent our time relaxing at beaches and spas, but enjoyed a few days absorbing the culture as well.

We love to visit Bali again - it's absolutely unforgettable.

    I used to have this image of Bali as tourist-infested and thus ruined by tourism but your photos and comments -- and that of a friend who visited recently -- are helping to change my mind about the place! :)

    Maybe you'll be interested to visit Bali in Nyepi (Hindu Day of Silence or the Hindu New Year in the Balinese Saka calendar).
    At that particular day, there's no work, no business activity, no electricity, nothing.
    I never experienced it yet, but I really love to.
