Where is this tropical island?
Ko Samui!!
It is the 2nd most popular island destination in Thailand, after Phuket.
Ko Samui has white sandy beaches, dazzling coral, luscious lagoons, picturesque waterfalls, swaying coconut trees and crystal clear water. It is an oasis of natural beauty.
Can't wait to fly over for a short getaway. :D
Wordless Wednesday
Don't forget about Koh Phi Phi, I heard it's also a nice getaway paradise too.
ReplyDeletePuNiao,
ReplyDeleteKoh Phi Phi!? I google first. :D
excellent blog, congrats..
ReplyDeleteAh, that Island looks beautiful! I love being near the water.
ReplyDeleteHi Ms ECL,
ReplyDeleteYa I agreed Ko Samui is an excellent getaway!
The beach on these paradises has sand that is so whitsh unlike that in Singapore.
However Singapore does have its charm though and I love to visit the beaches in Singapore too.
Looks like a nice getaway. The thing is that I have limited love for the beaches. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSomeday I really want to get there. I've been to (and LOVED) Thailand, but we never made it down to the islands. We started in Bangkok and then went east and north instead.
ReplyDeleteNext time...
nice getaway. Enjoy.

Have never been to Ko Samui before, which is a pity consider how close it is to S'pore. Well, relatively. It's one of those places that is so near that I tend to put off for further (and thus more exotic) location.
ReplyDeleteHey, I heard that the water at the beach is so clean that it's like swimming in a pool. Do post more photos when you're back!
The name sounds Japanese. I never heard of this place before. If only I had the chance to get away from the winter here, I would fly to this beautiful place. Nice captures!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Krabi. I sure need a holiday now :-)
ReplyDeleteDreaming on with you.... however; right now I enjoy the snow we have in Norway :-)
ReplyDeleteOhhh....Envy!! I have never been to Koh Samui! I must make it a point to go...have heard too many good things about that place! Enjoy yourself!
ReplyDeleteAnother group of beautiful photographs. What a lovely island to go visit one day.
ReplyDeleteEcl
ReplyDeleteI have heard so much of Ko Samui.Tourists when in Thailand usually will not give this place a miss. Should you go there, don't forget to blog about it.
Ko Samui is beautiful but you should also check out Koh Chang. Very beautiful white beaches with bungalows right on the water.
ReplyDeleteThe island also has 7 different waterfalls some of which are very private and romantic.
Hope to get here one day, it's lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteenjoy your vacation, dear.
