Vintage Car Grand Prix 2008 - WS #34


Gleaming vintage cars....

Had to wake up the kids very early to catch the Vintage Car Grand Prix demonstration. A must for all vintage car lovers and avid photographers.

Can see, cannot touch

Besides the vintage car display, we witnessed the flag off by Sonny Rajah, our very own motor racing hero. We cheered on the racers as they manoeuvred their way down Connaught Drive.

Ready, get set... Go!!

It's the first time the kids were seeing real vintage cars. They were very fascinated. It's great that a few of the owners talked to them about their cars and allowed them a ride. :)

Don't forget to vote for eastcoastlife as it's only a few days left to the closing date. I engaged the help of a snake to help me get more votes. It isn't easy to manipulate it as it keep twisting here and there..... plus I was shaking with fear.

    What beautiful cars - most like art - and how nicely they are maintained - no wonder you and the kids had an amazing time watching (no touching :lol. ).

    Can hardly wait for the next post. I so much remember the last time we shared nudity - it was like a thrill money cant buy ;-)

    Those vintage cars are too beautiful... I didn't even get to lay ONE FINGER on it. ish.

    Looks as the same cars I saw here in Waterloo in spring ! there was an oldtimer meeting. I am back now from my Summer Art Academy and quite tired ! Student life ....

    Those are a lot of classic cars for a busy area like Singapore!! Good collection. My father actually has a vintage car, so we are familiar with these events hehehe!! Love the snake honey!! You are really dedicated and will do anything for these votes!!

    Wow, I just love these oldies. Next Sunday, here in South Africa, we have our biggest vintage and classic car show, called Cars in the Park. I have already started dusting off the old camera, cannot wait.

    I like looking at vintage cars and be amazed at how they are so well managed by the owners. Cost a fortune maintaining them perhaps.
