Trainee Chef's weekend - Weekend Snapshot 5

It's 4 more weeks before Chinese Lunar New Year. We started our spring cleaning since Saturday. As we were busy discarding unused items....... tiding and cleaning the house, my son Jaymes decided to start his baking.

For many years, I always baked festive cookies and cakes for our new year gatherings. For the past 2 years, Jaymes has been helping me out. This year he's taking over.

Yeah!! I can shake legs! ^-^

He made cookies......

... baked bread,.....

....... and cooked lunch. Pork chops!

Who wants to come to my house for Chinese New Year gathering? ^-^

  30. What time? J/J That's fabulous that your son likes to cook! I wish more men would help out in the kitchen. Although, since my husband does the grocery shopping most of the time, I should cut him some slack about never cooking. :)
