  1. I had a dislocated ankle. The Chinese Physician who attended to me, immobolized my left foot in a plaster cast. Now I have to rest for another week. duh. This is only the 3rd day, but the bandaged foot is beginning to itch like crazy. Gosh .........

    Can't reach the itch... grrrr....

    Not again. It was dislocated but the orthopaedics didn't diagnose that, even with the X-rays I took! So I was in pain for one month for nothing!

    grrrr.....

    No lah. Old injury. I went to a Chinese Physician, he aligned my ankle joints and then put the foot in a cast.

  7. I used to have my whole hand wrapped in plaster for about 6 weeks and everytime when it itched, I'd use a long ruler (neh, those 30cm plastic rulers) and try to scratch inside :p

    6 weeks!! Thank God! I'm so lucky! ok, no more complaints. :)

    I'm trying to scratch with cotton buds. kekeke.....

  15. Hehe when i was in a cast i used ruler to poke in and scratch.....kenot tahan the itch but stay in air con room helps u noe, when hot time itch more.

    Hope u feel better soon..Maybe you can try to sprinkle some talcum powder through crevices in the plaster.(difficult--but still worth trying)

  33. ECL, That is how serious when we have a fall & injured the ankle. If not fully diagnosed & treated, more syptoms & pain to endure. So how's the 'suing' of that hotel gg on?

    You poor little thing got to endure the pain & the ouuuchhh ITCH !!

  45. Sorry to hear about your dislocated ankle. Pain and itch are two different things for me, I rather be in pain than itchy all the time. Hope you get well.

    I traveled once to Singapore, despite the 30 hours straight travel, I loved the place the minute I stepped out the plane. Love the heat, and rain in Septemeber. Anna :)

    You could try to scratch with a skewer. They are pretty skinny.
