Chris eating nasi lemak that he bought, Jetstar doesn't encourage passengers to bring outside food on board. he he he...... we are cheapskate budget travellers.
We stayed at Ibis Siam Bangkok Hotel which just opened not too long ago. It was near Pratunum & getting cabs to our destinations was a breeze.
I booked a Standard room at a very special price & was given a free upgrade to a Superior room. It was big. The rooms were simply decorated but cosy.
The hotel is still new. The bathroom is small but clean. Anyway we aren't gonna stay in the room most of the time. The staff were friendly & helpful.
Daily buffet breakfast is included. It has a 24-hour food takeaway.
Jetstar flight & hotel stay cost us less than S$260 each. What we saved for airticket & accommodation was splurged on food & shopping.
