Mother's Day - Qian Hu Fish Farm

Eng Keong & his family were in town for a week. He wanted to look for some tropical fishes so Chris offered to bring him to Qian Hu Fish Farm.

We picked Eng Keong & Yuni at 9am & brought them for breakfast at Shunfu.

It was a hot day. At the farm, I had to look for a cool place to sit while the guys checked out the fishes. There weren't many people today. Maybe because it's Mother's Day, so the guys refrained from indulging in their hobbies to celebrate this special day. he he he.....

Eng Keong bought some aquatic accessories & fish food. We brought them for lunch at The Soup Restaurant in Seah Street.

The restaurant served only Mother's Day set meal for today, no ala carte. We had their famous Steam Chicken with Ginger Dip, Ginseng Chicken Soup, Tofu with Prawns, Steam Fish, Olive Rice & Mixed Vegetables with Scallops. Dessert was White Fungus with Red Dates & Gingko Nuts.

After sending Eng Keong back, we went to Maxwell Market to buy Chicken Rice, Cha Kway Teow, Minced Meat Porridge for Chris' parents. That's our Mother's Day dinner.
