Dreaming..... - WW

Where is this tropical island?


Ko Samui!!
It is the 2nd most popular island destination in Thailand, after Phuket.


Ko Samui has white sandy beaches, dazzling coral, luscious lagoons, picturesque waterfalls, swaying coconut trees and crystal clear water. It is an oasis of natural beauty.


Can't wait to fly over for a short getaway. :D

    Don't forget about Koh Phi Phi, I heard it's also a nice getaway paradise too.

    Ya I agreed Ko Samui is an excellent getaway!

    The beach on these paradises has sand that is so whitsh unlike that in Singapore.

    However Singapore does have its charm though and I love to visit the beaches in Singapore too.

    Someday I really want to get there. I've been to (and LOVED) Thailand, but we never made it down to the islands. We started in Bangkok and then went east and north instead.

    Lots of my friends and my son have been visiting Thailand and stayed at the beach. I haven't been there yet, although it is not expensive at all from Brussels.

    Have never been to Ko Samui before, which is a pity consider how close it is to S'pore. Well, relatively. It's one of those places that is so near that I tend to put off for further (and thus more exotic) location.

    Hey, I heard that the water at the beach is so clean that it's like swimming in a pool. Do post more photos when you're back!

    Ko Samui is beautiful but you should also check out Koh Chang. Very beautiful white beaches with bungalows right on the water.

    The island also has 7 different waterfalls some of which are very private and romantic.

    It's super commercialised now. Gd n bad. Ko Phi Phi is not bad too. Ko Tao more rustic i hear. Enjoy your break.
