Day 4 - Hanjeongsik 韩食正餐

We were brought to this small restaurant which serves Hanjeongsik (韩食正餐) .

In Jeonju, this type of cooking brings together 8 or 10 local ingredients in 12 to 13 basic side dishes, in addition to 5 or 6 special dishes. Sides dishes in Jeonju are not only extremely plentiful & extravagant but also both salty & hot yet sugary, creating a delicious & unique taste.

韩食正餐是晚宴性质的传统专门料理, 是以全州引以为豪的十八味或十味材料均匀配制的十二, 三种基本小菜的基础上, 加上五, 六种菜肴而成的韩国饮食文化的代表性饮食.

I finally tasted fish tonight, albeit two small ones. They were extremely salty, like our local salted fish.

I counted a total of 25 dishes.

I enjoy the meal tonight. So did Jing Jing & her Mom. After dinner, it was back to the hotel.

Photos will be uploaded when I get back to Singapore.
