Photohunt - Long

I enjoy travelling. I like to take short trips around the region. I dislike long trips and being away from home too long. hehe....

I visited the Great Wall of China twice. It is 6 700km long, stretching from East to West. It was built more than 2 000 years ago. More than 2 million men died building it, and were buried in the wall.

The Long Neck Karen tribe in Northern Thailand. The women wear brass rings on their neck.

This long-nosed boy is from the USA. Disney World movie. haha.......

When I first saw the Great Wall of China, it took my breathe away. Even the second visit was awesome. It never fails to amaze me. A masterpiece.

  8. by the way, i saw your message on tnchick's site saying you planning to shift over to wp. don't worry, nothing will be lost at least that's the case for me. there's an import function from blogger to wordpress :)

i tried it out over in wordpress.com after registering a free account to test if i liked the feeling of wordpress compared to blogger. when everything worked fine there, then i got myself a domain and ran wordpress :P never looked back ever since :)

  25. Beautiful photographs and an interesting post. You made me laugh with the long nose boy. Have a great weekend.

  26. That walk looks like it would take forever to get across, all the ups and downs. The photos of the girls with the rings around their necks is great, but seems like it would be very uncomfortable, although they are used to it and I had to laugh at the last photo of Pinochio with the long nose. Have a good weekend.

  27. Everyone in my family has visited the Great Wall of China. I saw the replica in Shenzhen. Plan to go there someday.

When I first saw the slides of the long neck tribes, I felt like choking. It must be uncomfortable when they sleep.

    Mine is up too.

    Have a great weekend.
