Traditional Taiwanese Cooking@ Shin Yeh 欣葉台菜 - PH

PhotoHunt theme : Cooking/Ripple

After returning from the Taiwan trip in early January this year, our tour members had several gatherings as we miss the fun we had together. Last night we had dinner at Shin Yeh, a restaurant that specialises in traditional Taiwanese cooking.

We ordered quite a number of dishes. The one must-have at Shin Yeh is its delicious sweet potato porridge which you can have unlimited refills.

The dishes we ordered were delicious, I would recommend the Braised Pork Belly, Crispy-fried fresh Oysters with dip, Sauteed Prawns with Pineapples, Poached Savoury Duck in Boullion.

Expect to get an expensive bill as the dishes are quite pricey.  :P

As we had booked a private function room which has a minimum spending of $400, we had to order the expensive mini abalone to match that. :P

Let's have a group photo before dinner.

After dinner we went for drinks at The Pump Room, an innovative 3-in-1 concept comprising fine dining, fresh brews and a live band entertainment.

Throughout the night, our laughter rippled through the air, amidst the loud music. :D It was good to see everyone again and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

  3. No Taiwanese restaurant near me. I enjoy your blogs as usual. I have met many nice fellow travelers on group tours. Now I meet fellow RVers in their trailers or tents at RV Parks.
